EXCELLENCE IN PEDIATRICS CONFERENCE

Improving Child Health Globally

The Annual Excellence in Pediatrics Conference (EIP) is the Institute's annual flagship event that updates its delegates of the latest scientific developments and more importantly helps them to improve the standard of care they deliver on the Monday morning after the meeting. The EIP Faculty presents cutting-edge research and its specific use for pediatric practice - providing attendees with unparalleled access to frontline research, but critically with a professional translation into clinical practice. The Excellence in Pediatrics Conference is a truly collaborative event designed for the benefit of frontline child healthcare professionals from across Europe and around the world. The scientific program can be viewed as a series of parallel speciality conferences that cover the very latest hot topics and developments across specialities of pediatrics.

ONLINE EDUCATION

Stay updated with the latest evidence to improve your everyday practice

The annual conference goes a long way in achieving EIP’s mission to share the latest developments and practical advice in pediatrics. But EIP wants to build on the face-to-face education at the annual meeting by taking the learning outside the halls and arranging a series of free-to-view webinars, hosted and promoted every month throughout the year. EIP's target is to increase awareness and knowledge among frontline child healthcare professionals through Peer-to-Peer education and sharing essential information. Webinars are recorded and made available to the 45,000 healthcare professionals connected to EIP, and many thousands more around the world. Over the past years, EIP has developed extensive online educational content by recording sessions of the annual conference delivered by leading Key Opinion Leaders in Pediatrics. Our Recorded Sessions Library allows you to update your skills and knowledge anywhere and at any time.

6th LIFECOURCE IMMUNIZATION POLICY FOCUS GROUP MEETING

LifeCourse Vaccinations are the basis of health systems resilience and preparedness

The stark reality is that the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic has forced us to face the reality that we are now living in a new era, one that is impacting on all aspects of our lives, including our healthcare priorities. Established vaccine barriers to increase vaccination rates have now shifted and new ones have emerged, we must come together to identify, assess and react to these new priorities urgently. The Healthcare Community and Policymakers must address the new and emerging challenges before they become insurmountable. By bringing together the key organisations, opinion leaders, associations, and policymakers EIP are constantly working on what needs to change and what activities need to happen to support the desired change. The Focus Group and Working Group Meetings are central to EIP's work as part of the EU Vaccines Coalition and we are proud to collaborate with 20 allied organisations and associations in our work. Vaccines Together is an initiative and online collaboration hub run by EIP, targeting to increase vaccination coverage rates across Europe, and across all stages of life, by facilitating collaboration, best practices exchange, ideas and educational resources sharing among organisations, associations, and institutions involved in promoting vaccinations.

SPOT THE EARLY SIGNS EDUCATION PROGRAM

Early diagnosis can make a difference

The program aims to fight under-diagnosed or late-diagnosed conditions for which treatments are available and where early detection and early treatment could make a significant difference in the condition's development, the quality of life and the survival of patients. Following a Peer2Peer educational approach, the program targets to improve everyday practice and the way child healthcare professions advise and treat the children and families they support. Pediatricians and family doctors are likely to be the first healthcare professionals to observe symptoms, and it is important to help these front-line clinicians suspect, diagnose, and refer patients.
