WORKING GROUP

COVID-19 VACCINATION POLICY - OVERCOMING BARRIERS TO UNIVERSAL UPTAKE IN EUROPE

Formed in January 2021 and tasked with putting forward and implementing practical actions and campaigns to overcome the emerging barriers to COVID-19 vaccine uptake across Europe in 2021/22 and beyond. The wide range of COVID-19 vaccines being launched offers hope and opportunity, but also a plethora of challenges. The Working Group covers all aspects, including public perception, roll-out, vaccine development, vaccine access, national prioritisation groups, vaccine passports, implementation policy, infrastructure and cold chain challenges. A crucial Working Group for getting our lives back and making sure healthcare systems are protected to deliver the highest standards of care related to non-COVID diseases and treatments. COVID-19 has changed all our lives and our agendas and will also feature heavily as a background context for the other Working Groups taking place in 2021.
