Dr Anke Bruns is an infectious disease specialist at UMC Utrecht and also trained as a haematologist.

She has a specific interest and expertise in the prevention and treatment of infections of immunocompromised host and transplant infectious diseases. She is the leader of the vaccination clinic of UMC Utrecht. She works on improving care for immunocompromised and implementation of vaccine programs. Next to this, she developed a training course for infections of the immunocompromised and collaborates in several clinical trials on this topic.
