As we have emerged from the COVID pandemic, we must face the reality that we are now living in a new era, one that is impacting all aspects of our lives, including our healthcare priorities. Within this context, it’s essential that we identify the emerging vaccine barriers to increase vaccination rates across the life course. We must increase vaccine confidence and invest in preventative strategies to build robust, cost-effective and resilient health systems. The Healthcare Community and Policymakers must address the new and emerging immunisation challenges before they become insurmountable. By bringing together the key organisations, opinion leaders, associations, and policymakers, EIP is constantly working on what needs to change and what activities need to happen to support the desired change. The 5 Working Groups formed so far are tasked with identifying established and emerging barriers to vaccine uptake and advising on the most suitable policy changes and action plans that will bring about immediate improvements to vaccine uptake and coverage. |
